Fascinating study, but the findings are a little bit scary: “…however the brain network was more clustered and less efficient than the twitter network.”

There’s a ton of talk going on right now about social capital/social currency and the importance of measurement services like Klout and PeerIndex. Julie’s written a nice piece from a counter perspective - since context is not being not factored in, measurement of influence isn’t accurate (or viable).
